All Caroline Svedbom Jewelry is made of brass with 18-karat gold or rhodium plating and selectively chosen high-quality crystals. All jewelry complies with EU standards as nickel-safe/nickel-approved, meaning that the nickel content released is below the allowable threshold (0.05%). Nearly all metals contain some trace amounts of nickel, even if in extremely small quantities. The earring posts are made of 925 silver. All materials used in manufacturing are consistently tested for the highest quality.

Each Caroline Svedbom piece is handmade and requires gentle handling. Follow these tips to extend its lifetime:
• Wipe gently with a soft cloth and store in a jewelry box or pouch.
• Avoid contact with perfume, lotion, makeup, hair, and cleaning products.
• Remove jewelry before washing hands, swimming, exercising, or showering.
• Keep jewelry away from sharp or abrasive surfaces.
